For 150 years, the Pitbulls were bred to be babysitters. The Pitbull have been portrayed as violent, dangerous animals and unreliable in recent times. However, what most do not know about this race is that for 150 years, the Pitbull was considered ideal to care for the children of the House dog. Surprisingly, the nickname of this breed was "nanny dog" for a century and a half. If there are children in the family, sure had a Pitbull since it was considered the dog more reliable and more apt to be with children. But the symbol of family dog was destroyed to popularize the breed as "rough men dog". This resulted in unduly bred Pitbulls which, as you can do it with a Chihuahua, were involved in several incidents as a result. Today the Pitbull who are bearing is bad publicity, the Rottweiler, they were before them the Doberman and so on. In temperament tests (i.e., equivalent to how many times a child can put the finger in the eye a dog until you bite it), the most tolerant race was the Golden Retriever. The Pitbull was the second. The jaws of the Pitbull not clog with bite, not race with the more powerful bite and are not naturally aggressive towards humans (are the race that younger shows preference for human company).
