For 18 years, I was selfish. Ive always had the biggest heart, but I never put anyone before me until you. Until the day we officially met, that didnt change. When your Daddy brought you up to my face I knew right then and there that you will be before me always and forever. You are my everything and you complete me.You are only 2 months old and I love you this much already. Not only do I love you more every day I see you, but ever time that I blink and see you I fall more and more in love with the fact that you are my son. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Your smile would make anyones day. Youre the only person in the entire world to be able to bring me back up when Im at my lowest point. I wanted a little girl, but the second I was told I was having a baby boy, my heart began to beat slower and faster at the same time. I was beyond happy! I knew right then and there you were going to always be a Mamas boy and my best friend. You are so special to me and I wouldnt trade you for the world. You are my baby boy!! Anyone could be holding you and as long as you can see me youre fine but the second you dont see me you get so upset and just want me to hold you. Whenever I get you; you smile. As Im typing this, you have your hand on my heart and are grabbing my shirt. Im always here. Like I tell you every day, Mommy isnt going anywhere and she never will, I PROMISE! I kiss you every night before bed three times. 1. A goodnight kiss, 2. An I love you kiss, and 3. An Ill always be here for you kiss. Like the song says, My wish for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to. Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small. Always know I love you and want whats best for you. There will come a time in your life that you will fall, and I will let you so that you will learn, but know I will be right there to either catch you or pick you up. I will never let you down. You are my son and all I do with the rest of my life is protect you, guide you, and forever love you. Im not 18 and selfish anymore. Im 19 and selfless all for you. You will always and forever be my baby boy, even when youre all grown up and married with children of your own. Youre my baby, and I love you so much. God gave me you so I could teach you, and be the one you call Mommy. I would catch a grenade for you, jump in front of a moving vehicle for you, take a bummer for you. I would die for you in a split second, even if all you had was one more breath after me, you will live that one more breath than me because I will die before I let anything happen to you.
