For 75 years (1937 to 2011) Atlanta Christian College (now Point University) was located in East Point, Georgia on a quiet 57 acre campus at the intersection of Ben Hill Road and Dodson Drive. In 2011 the name was changed to Point University and in the fall of 2012 the main campus was relocated to West Point, Georgia. The East Point campus finally closed in December 2013. As a result of this campus closing the East Point Historical Society has been the fortunate recipient of a complete set of the college annual yearbooks for our research collection as well as the lovely Map Case pictured here. Our heartfelt thanks go to the Point University administration for this wonderful gift and to their Librarian Michael Bain for his gracious assistance in the transfer.
