For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7 Gods power in us How would you define who a timid person is? Are they defined by what they do or by what they don’t do? Can you tell by just what they say or by what they don’t say? Is it by how successful or how unsuccessful he or she is? Or simply does it all depend on one’s attitude and personal perspective towards life? Sometimes, we might look back through our past and define ourselves by social stereotypes, but one thing right here is clear, Do not be intimidated by failure. Life itself does not offer a second chance but living is full of different opportunities to start all over again and give it another try. Different people go through different trials and triumphs in life but it is those who want to leave a mark in the world that refuse to let their lives to be determined by what they do or what they don’t do. They go out there and exercise the true spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline that the Lord God has bestowed on them.
