For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 We all take things for granted. Our belongings, food and water, our dirt bikes, our talents, our parents, friends and life in general. What we take most for granted is that God gave his only son to be crucified on the cross. So that we can be saved. Saved from our sin and given the chance to have eternal life in heaven next to God himself. Jesus walked on this earth just as we are. Born just like us, faced death just like us. Feeling all the same things we are... Pain, temptation, happiness, tiredness, sadness, joy...He too was human. He too was temped by the devil just as we are daily. Adam and Eve...Adam was temped to eat from where he was told not to.. None of us are perfect. But Jesus gave his life so that we could be forgiven of what sin we have done and are about to do today. It doesnt say you have to be perfect in the Bible. It says repent from your sin and believe with all your heart that Jesus was crucified and rose again on the third day, defeating death. He died to cover our sin that are destined to do because its inevitable. Ever have that feeling inside of you just before you do or say something wrong, Telling you that its wrong? Thats the Holy Spirit inside of you. Guiding you. Guiding you to repent from sin and love one another. God loves you. He always will. Hes always been there and is there now. He has never left you even when your at your lowest most toughest times. He loves you no matter what. Dont take it for granted. Dont take Gods mercy for granted, Ask and you will be forgiven. Pray forgiveness. Believe with all your heart that he died for you... Not, so that you can live here on earth for only 90 something years... But so that you shall not perish and have eternal life! In heaven next to God himself! Dont take his love for granted. Cherish that. Be so thankful for what Jesus did. Believe. God is real.
