For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. Psalm 103:14 It is amazing to think that God, knowing full well what He has to work with, would use us as conduit for His love, power and comfort to flow through to minister into the lives of others. When you refuse to act on His behalf because you feel inadequate, remember that God has never had a qualified person working for Him yet. Its not about us - what we can do. Its about us being available and willing and submitted to Him. He knows we are made of dust. In fact, that is exactly what displays His power on an even greater level. Did you know you can pray for healing for someone even while you are fighting sickness in your own body? You can share the Word with someone about finances even when you are dealing with financial lack in your own life. You even can encourage someone when depression is harassing you. Gods truths are still true regardless of what is going on in your own life. The enemy is just bullying you - trying to intimidate you into keeping your mouth shut because he knows the power and authority of Gods spoken Word in your mouth - even if you dont. You do not have to be perfect for God to use you because its not YOU. Its Him working through you. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 2 Cor 4:7 If we will just submit to God and tell Him that we are willing - that we will speak His Word, share His love, extend His comfort, tell His truths to whoever He sends across our path - God will use us. And He will use us as conduit to get His Word and His love to someone who is in desperate need to receive it. Dont let your humanity, or your supposed inadequacies, keep you from letting Him simply flow through you to someone else who needs Him.
