For Immediate Release July 9, 2013 Dance to the music of the 1980s at O’Fallon Jammin’ Outdoor Concerts Bringing dance music to O’Fallon Jammin’, Plastic will perform, free, from 6:30 – 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, in Civic Park. Plastic has the music of the 1980s covered, along with more modern tunes. The band’s song list includes hits by AC/CD, Bon Jovi, the Cars, the Clash, Kool and the Gang, Duran Duran, Journey, Prince, Rick James, Rick Springfield, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Tears for Fears, Nine Inch Nails, the Ramones, Thompson Twins, Usher and others. plasticstl/home.cfm Jammin’ Outdoor Concerts, which are sponsored by the O’Fallon Parks and Recreation Department with support from local businesses, are held from 6:30 – 9 p.m. each Tuesday evening through August 20. Admission and parking are free, lawn seating is available around the Civic Park bandstand, and a variety of vendors sell festival-style food and beverages. Coolers and backpacks are permitted, but they are subject to search by O’Fallon police officers, rangers and parks and recreation staff. No glass containers are allowed in the park.
