For Keith Wise on our 15 year anniversary an original Poem We’ve been together fifteen years and helped each other thrive My mind boggles when I think of all the things that we’ve survived Like Y2K, 911 and eight years of Bush Cheney, Milkshake song- dogs let out and everyone dancing to “Happy” There was your old truck my 2 Bugs one old and one new Long hair shaved heads goatees vests Steam-punk goggles too We’ve climbed atop a mountain and saw the setting sun Entered the ocean as 2 people coming out as one Held each other through the night while we each have cried When friends were lost, our bodies were hurt or pets and family died We’ve laugh so hard we couldn’t breathe Always getting each other jokes I’d be remiss if I left out at least a billion tokes. Vee Jay, Sandwich artist, rain gutter sales Dispensaries, yoga teaching and some epic fails Star Wars and Trek prequels and sequels, reboots and other scams Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings 3 super and 2 Spidermans Remakes of total recall, and the evil dead All three matrix, Transformers, saw Jango lose his head Lan lines flip phones Desktops video dvd bluray, burning my own cds smartphones , tablets, and laptops streaming Pandora and downloading mp3s Voicemail, email, myspace, facebook, youtube twitter and texts I look forward to more adventures In this life and the next With Love Ron
