For Now Rescue Dogs Hot Dogs will not be at the mens softball - TopicsExpress

For Now Rescue Dogs Hot Dogs will not be at the mens softball games. The Hillsboro Park Board seems to be the roadblock preventing this from happening. I personally dont understand opposing having us there, not only for the mens games but for any games including HYAA activities. The Park Board should reconsider their decision not have concessions at the parks. Hmmm wait,... They have food concessions during the Balloon Festival. Im sure there will be food and drinks available during the upcoming Circus next week. The Fireman sell food and drinks during the mens softball tournament. At Butler Park on Saturdays theres fresh food for sale including veggies, jams & jellies. Im not looking to get anyones undergarments in a bunch but, I am looking to provide a convenience to all the people that attend the games. I dont believe there will be 5 or 6 vendors wanting to set up for the games. As I was told If we let one in we have to let them all in. Allan Kingsbury said in the past 18 years Kona Ice and Rescue Dogs are the only two vendors that have showed interest in working the games. Baseball, Ice Cream and Hot Dogs... Sounds All American to me... Chairman James C. Bailey III, the folks that are actually at the field during the games would appreciate the convenience. If you are worried about the kids being distracted by the music from the ice cream truck Im sure they wouldnt play it during the game. If you are still worried about distractions whats next, no loud truck exhaust driving past the ball field? Maybe eliminate spectators and parents? Ive seen how they can not only be a distraction but embarrassing too. Change is good
