For Sale - Pearl Girl the pony. Due to divorce only. Located in Marshall, MO. $700 or may take partial payment in hay. Weve had her about 6 years. Believe shes about 14/15. Always up to date on 5 way vaccination, tetanus, coggins, worming and hoofcare. Has been foundered. Generally we keep her on a dry lot with pasture turnout. She cannot be left on full pasture year round. Been hauled all over to fun shows, school events, petting zoos, and parades. Any child can get her from the pasture, groom, bathe, pick feet, etc. Rides in bit or halter. With small children she may pull her head away for grass. Can cover ground with her long trot, but happy to just walk. Easy to trot, stop and back. I have no kids who have loped her so cant say much on that gait. Trainer told me shed been broke to cart, but we havent driven her. She rarely has a pony attitude, may swing her head and pull away in her own direction. If you correct it she stops. No kick, bite, or rear. Weve had two instances in 6 years. Once while being led at a run through the barrels she kicked up a back leg and the toddler rider fell off. Not a full out buck, but enough. Once while all stock was being grained in the pasture, child jumped on her bareback without halter/bridle and she bucked two bucks. So, I wont say she wont buck, but I suspect most anyone else would represent her that way. We want her to find the right home so youll get reality from us. Shes never once caused a problem on the ground with anyone. New home will have to pass muster from my children. Shes a solid, sweet pony with a lot to give.
