For Sale: 1988 Toyota 4Runner SR5. 3,795 OBO I have one too many vehicles now, so I need to let my classic 4Runner go. I am the third owner and I have owned it since 2011. I have all receipts and records for any and all work that I have done to it, and always kept it in a garage until I moved into a new house last week. Will include Free heavy duty rubber floor mats as well as a free large heavy duty rubber cargo mat, worth over $100! Some of the work done includes: -Rebuilt motor with less than 15k miles -Rebuilt transmission with less than 35k miles -Rebuilt transfer case with less than 35k miles -Brand new BFG All Terrain tires, perfect tread -Professionally cleaned all fuel injectors less than 3k miles ago -New brake pads with less than 3k miles -Rebuilt brake calipers with less than 12k miles -Brand new exhaust system+muffler -Cleaned inside of the gas tank -New motor for rear window -Heavy duty all purpose roof rack -Tow package Between myself and the previous owners, there has been much more work done than listed, all with receipts and records. I always changed and checked all fluids religiously, to include differential, transmission, fuel filter, transfer case, engine oil, and of course brakes and coolant. This 4Runner is fully loaded with power windows, power mirrors, power locks, and a sunroof as well. It is powered by a V6 engine and an automatic transmission. However, it was broken into recently and the sun roof was stolen, along with the Alpine stereo and subwoofer that I had. All the wiring is still intact, and the aftermarket speakers are still in good condition. They attempted to start the vehicle using a screw driver, and as a result the ignition suffered some minor damage. The key is still able to be inserted and turned, but will require the use of the discrete push button starter that I installed in order for the vehicle to turn over. Vehicle will not start without key inserted and in the On position. Other things that it needs include wiring work for the rear window to operate correctly, the AC pump to be mounted, and a new switch for the passenger window (motor was tested and is in good working condition). There is a small dent in the rear bumper. I also installed a heavy duty brush guard as well as aftermarket fog lights. Power locks work perfect. There are only one or two spots where there is minor rust on the body, the frame is solid. This model features a removable top with a roll bar for additional passenger safety. I have never removed the top, and it never leaks. The interior is in overall good condition. The seats have no stains or tears, and all carpet is intact. The heater works wonderfully. Both 4x4 Hi and Lo also work very well, although the transfer case shift lever has a minor quirk in 4Lo where it will sometimes pop into 4Hi. Overall very solid 4x4 system with no other problems. This 4Runner has been my daily driver, camping vehicle, and companion for four years, but I have a new vehicle now and I dont have room for this one any more.
