*For Sale* Chexolena Gold, aka Chex, is a sweet, 14.1 hands, stalky, 8 year old, registered APHA, tobiano, palomino, stallion. I bought Chex in hopes of turning him into an all-around barrel/cow horse. He is cow, reining, cutting, halter, western pleasure, and speed breed. Chex has the potential to be a great all-around horse. He is very smart, willing, and easy to work with. Chex is green broke. He knows the basics to his ground work. I have saddled him several times and walked around on him with just a snaffle and he does really well. Have also hopped on him bareback and he did well with that also. Chex stands for the farrier, stands tied with no fuss, and stands to be saddled and bridles. Chex is a very well behaved stallion. You can hardly tell that he is a stallion 80% of the time. The 20% that you can tell is when he gets around other horses and starts to get excited but once corrected he calms down and listens to his handler. I am only selling him because I don’t have the time for him like I thought I would due to my job. He is pastured with my 8 year old gelding and follows him around like a puppy dog.
