For Sale VEGA PROFESSIONAL 19 fret vintage tenor banjo with 23” scale length dating from 1925 as attested by serial number 67042 stamped on both rim and dowel stick. It is in excellent unrestored condition and features the desirable 28 piece flange, pie-plate resonator and, of course, the famous Tu-Ba-Phone tone ring. A great sounding banjo set up for Irish trad music. The hard case is original but frankly v. tatty. Straight neck and no grooves in the frets (has had fret level fairly recently). Replaced tuners for easy and accurate tuning and non-original armrest. Everything else is original. There are a few small dings etc. which is only to be expected on an instrument which is almost 90 years old.
