For Sale.............. * Wellan Gifted *............ Brown gelding registered Riding Pony ...by .. Urubula Regal Promise out of a TB mare... 15 hh .. rising 10 year old. I bought River 5 months ago and sent him to someone to ride him with the intentions to get him going to compete and sell on later, but the person never did go on with him. He has issues...one is that he will try to buck when he goes into the canter. I have a video of him with a friend that hopped on him after 5 months not ridden...walk trot is fine but he tried to buck but he cant buck to save himself as you can see in the video. He is a spook and everything is out to get him....he is a 3 year old in a 10 year old body. Previous owner said he was arena sour...he was planned to be a show hunter but he really needs all sorts of different riding..ie- bush ..cattle work anything you can throw at him !!!! When my friend rode him he took him around a cross country course...what an eye opener... but he got him over the tyres with a pig root in between it all and he actually to our surprize went straight over the jump into the water jump ???? He is good to trim feet ..drench ..float ... rug...loves being paddocked with another horse. I will only sell this horse to EXPERIENCED RIDERS who can ride him through his issues....DEFINITELY NO BEGINNERS..NOVICE..INTERMEDIATE OR GUNG HO PEOPLE as I wont sell to them. I feel there is no hope lost on him yet....he is not a nasty horse but needs the right person.......... Sorry for such a long ad.. $1,000 .00 ..
