For Sponsoring Groups who are approved to offer the ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician - Level 2 certification program - this news is for you. The ACI C620 Laboratory Technician Certification committee has added ASTM Test Method C157/C157M, Length Change of Hardened Hydraulic-Cement Mortar and Concrete, to the ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician-Level 2 certification program. This additional test method will be included in both the written and performance examinations for Laboratory Technician-Level 2. The additional reference document (and supporting study materials, performance checklist, etc.) will first appear in the CP-18 (13) workbook and subsequent/corresponding examination materials, which are due to be available later this summer. Please be advised of this change as you prepare for upcoming training/testing sessions, especially with regard to any material & equipment needs to support the performance testing on this test method.
