I am requesting your assistance in locating a military family in the Danville, Pleasanton, or the Livermore area, in need of Home Improvement assistance. I have the opportunity to assist from 3-4 families, this can be a Veteran and Family, a Family of a deployed Veteran, Active Duty Service Member and Family. Some examples of what can be done are: Landscaping and work in the yard Plumbing repair (toilets, showers, faucets) Replacing existing flooring Painting Wheelchair ramps Safety grab bars and safety hardware Replacing windows and doors. roofs, mold, asbestos, or electricity are the only exceptions and cannot be done. We are looking to get a Veteran Family by August the 9th with 20 Volunteers and materials, then a family each month, Sept-Nov with up to 50 Volunteers and materials. More information to come!!
