For a 15th year, First Presbyterian Church in Foley, Ala. Close to 100 were fed off-site at the Foley jail (staff and prisoners), and firefighters in Foley and Gulf Shores, shut-ins, and others that were served by other family or friends taking a tray to some that werent on our list. Then there were probably close to another 200 served on site. Many thanks to P.J. King who took the reigns this year for a well-organized event, to her husband Don for serving as head cook, and to numerous volunteers who worked to cook, clean and serve. Here are a few photos from the event. I was proud to be a part of it for the first time this year beyond just dropping off a food contribution or showing up to stiff my face! It was an honor to be part of the team.
