For a country whose economy is heavily agro dependent, whose fields and farms are largely rain watered, why do I sit here disturbed by the today rains and wishing I could jump out half clothed as I used to over two decades ago singing rain rain go way? I cringe at the thought of tuning in to Citi Eye Witness News at 5:30pm to hear Richard Dela Sky again bellow with characteristic choicest diction in his fine baritone what devastation the over 6hours of rainfall has left in its wake. And perhaps in the few days thereafter how our hospitals would be inundated with diarrhoeal ailments...and still higher cost of farm produce. I cant help but join in my childhood refrain rain rain go away... #something_inside_so_strong
