“For a father of many nations, have I made thee” (Genesis - TopicsExpress

“For a father of many nations, have I made thee” (Genesis 17:5). Note, Daddy God said to Abraham “...I made thee”; not I will make you, but its a done deal, even before manifestation. Notice, from a human perspective it is the past tense; however, because there is no time with Him, it is always the present tense, in His realm. Whatever he promises is what you are to Him currently. He lives only in the present, that is why He is I Am and those who come to Him MUST believe that He IS - not He was or will be. In His realm, it is never what we were or what we will be, but what He says we are - even before manifestation. That is why it is worth trusting Him. Abraham lived in divine present tense when He changed His name to reflect what was promised. See yourself from divine perspective. It is not what you will be, but what He has made you.
