For a long time, I have heard Jerry Perdue call my Albany United Church of the Nazarene home Church Church of love. I always knew it was true. Tonight it was proven in an amazing way. One of our dear members has a three-year-old nephew (and his wonderful grandmother is a dear member as well) was diagnosed with a tumor. He is currently in Nashville awaiting more tests and a upcoming surgery. Naturally, the family is shaken, but they are depending on the Solid Rock of Jesus Christ! We gathered tonight to anoint our dear brother with oil (James 5:16) and Prayed. The love that came down. I truly felt the presence of God and like it tells us to do in the Bible, we bore the burden of this dear family. Our beloved Pastor could barely Pray through his tears for this family. When we said Amen, Bro. Daves shirt was soaked from tears and I noticed a good many who were wiping away their own. We love this family and join all Prayer Warriors to join this family. We may not know them personally, but God does!
