For a while now Ive had a strong desire of doing a photography project focused on Veterans. My desire is not simply to offer them something as a thanks for their service, but to also make some of these individuals visible to the public they serve. Veterans day is a time to remember those who have served and this project is a chance to see some of these individuals that make up the huge family of people that protect this country and its rights. Therefore I am offering 3 Vets a free photoshoot. The photoshoot will consist of a photograph that will carry a short written message that entails how they have served, and what they currently do as well as some other individual statements. This will be an ongoing project and I hope to extend from this project into other projects serving the vets. If you are or know a vet that would be interested in being part of this project then share this post with them and be sure to tell them to leave a comment below. The first 3 commentators that meet the requirements that follow will be invited to the project. Unfortunately Im not able to travel very far since Im limited to a students allowance so please sign up if you can travel or are near Downtown Tampa or Downtown St. Pete. As a thanks for participating you are welcome to invite some friends or family for group pictures or individual shots that I will then send to you in digital format, all free of charge. So be sure to spread this message. Help me expand the image of those we celebrate on Veterans day, and all other days of the year.
