For about 3 weeks now I notice a "floater" in my right eye. . / it Looks like a fly flying in front of my face. I is called Myodesopsia. The treatment could be with a laser chopping the floater into tiny bits, which appears to be satisfactory in many cases, but it creates a multitude of tiny floaters. The other option is the one I been thinking of right of the bat as an obvious one: Stick a hollow needle in the eye and suck out the floating opaque tissue. . . it seems simple enough! It happens to be the most effective treatment. . .but there is catch: It is also the most risky treatment. . .A number of nasty complications can evolve form what is called "pars-plena-vitrectomy: feelgoodtime.net/what-is-pars-plana-vitrectomy-surgery/ The treatment for simple floaters appears to be a very rigorous solution: “When it comes to vitrectomy for floaters, most doctors will not recommend doing it.” I wonder if for this option The Price is Right.
