For all of our WA families, below is some information about A FREE public seminar on premature babies and lung development. The lungs are one of the last organs in the body to develop as a baby grows in the womb. Babies born prematurely will have lungs that are not fully developed which may lead to both short and long-term breathing problems. The Telethon Kids Institute is working with Princess Margaret Hospital for Children and King Edward Memorial Hospital to understand how lungs grow and develop in premmie babies and looking at lung function and air travel. Hear about the latest projects and findings from: • Professor Graham Hall, Telethon Kids Institute • Professor Jane Pillow, King Edward Memorial Hospital • Dr Adelaide Withers, Princess Margaret Hospital for Children • Dr Andrew Wilson, Princess Margaret Hospital for Children. Tuesday May 27, 2014 7:00pm-8:30pm Telethon Kids Institute, 100 Roberts Road Subiaco Free parking off Hamilton Street Light refreshments provided RSVP by Friday May 23 to: [email protected] phone 9489 7777 https://facebook/events/245963182259190/
