For all of us on the journey; :) Occasionally we get stuck. Our thoughts may prohibit us. They might take on the shape of the question what if there is no one or nothing to even bring gratefulness? What if there is nothing? When I read this post & question from another precious human on the journey this morning, I knew this place of thinking, & I knew the answer. I want to share it. Here is my answer to the question of the deep, sometimes isolated, rip your very soul open experience of the Supreme gift of Nothingness; The person wrote; What If you have nothing, even less then nothing,..... without even a person or systems to build gratefulness? What happens then? My response; If I tell you, are you ready? In the moments that you speak of, when all else has failed..... you Lean in. Lean in and sit inside the empty spaces. This thought of nothingness, It is an illusion. As you lean into it, sit right down & get...fortable.....In....the.......uncomfortableness...it is then the story in your brain becomes transparent. It is then you see the all. It is then you feel the all. When you do this Gratefulness takes up residence in your very soul & fiber. Then you are a conduit for & of your own Source. It is then that you will have become the cup. Being the cup, half full or half empty, as we are all capable of all expressions of the human experience, & we will be both & all moments, in between, through out our entire lives, repeatedly, it is then, as the cup, that you will be able to have exceptance, gratitude & omnipresent Love, from within. At this point the story of your life no longer carries a weighted charge & in the center of the gift of Nothing will blossom Love so big, so great, so dearly profound in its Magnitude that tears of Love, of Joy & Pain, will fall from the very gardens of you and water all the flowers of our worlds. This is you. I do not have to know you in person or personally to know this. I know this is you, the same way it was once me and now is. Lean in, my friend. It will be a wild ride, for sure, but that is why we are here, right? This process of evolution must be both dark & light. Lean in & let the games begin. Leap like a lunatic over the chasm below, your whole life awaits you, soon you will know You got this! I believe it. Pamela Burrus
