For all of you who are wondering about season 5- this is from John Wirth: In terms of Cheyenne, we’re not going back to Cheyenne. As a matter of fact, I think they struck the set already. I don’t even know if it’s there anymore. One of the aspects of this show is that it’s moving. The railroad is moving, and as you saw in the finale with the summit of Sherman Peak, at the downslope of Sherman Peak was Laramie. I think to the extent that we see the Union Pacific side of the story next year, if they’re in a town, that town will probably be Laramie. Moving into next season, you are going to have the gift of a new perspective, as well as many new characters who are going to inhabit this part of the world. While this may still be “Hell on Wheels,” so much of the surroundings will have changed. Be prepared for that, and stay tuned: We’ll have more coverage as it comes out in the months ahead.
