For all the people who are aware of the situation thats going on in Ferguson (USA) and would like to know what really happened to cause it all. Here is the video of the officers shooting the victim/assaulter. Warning; its not very graphic, but VERY real. Just to clear things up: The man was threatening people and the officers with a knife and repeatedly said shoot me!. He did not heed any of the warnings or commands issued by the officers. He also, repeatedly, came within 7mtrs of the officers, the distance at which someone with a knife can attack an officer before that officer can properly respond (i.e. draw and shoot). That in itself warrants the use of deadly force. Did the officers handle justly by shooting the man; I think so. Did they have to shoot him 8-9 times; definitely not. Police brutality; no, excessive force yes. Police are (or should be) trained to incapacitate a person when shooting, such as shooting them in the leg, but what would you do in a life-or-death situation when you only have a split second to decide? https://youtube/watch?v=j-P54MZVxMU&bpctr=1408722092 P.S. I do, however, completely disagree with the militarization of police forces. (and the way Ferguson police are handling the situation the way they are).
