For all the people who, like me, didnt want to fight the crowds Friday night and actually go to the Union Station celebration! [This video was shown on three GIANT screens!] Watching it made me think of all my Union Station memories: 1972 when it really WAS falling down, and I took pictures for my photographic journal....Independent Study Project for New College.......when Jack and I tried out for Jeopardy, and saw 8 people we knew!....when we went to the alternative Nutcracker, put on by Owens/Cox.....when we picked up Beverly Chlad, Marlene, Linda Bancroft, and Dean, on the train.....NO---we have never gone to anything at Science City......I think they would make a LOT more money charging $5 a person and having ALL of Kansas City attend.....than charging more than $20 a person! OH, and a really neat time of having the Tuba Christmas at Union Station....89 tubas playing Christmas Carols from the balconies!
