For all those who remember HMS Jufair in Bahrain, I feel that this can be seen as the confirmation that the old base that was closed down in 1971 is about return in new guise! I remember being on HM ships at Mina Salman with the joint forces command being on board having closed all the other facilities on the island the night prior to the final pull out.
