For those of you who know me you know Jake too. Last weekend do to complications due to Heat Stroke caused by Laryngeal Paralysis we had to put him to sleep. I want to thank all those involved with his emergency. The young man who lives at the Black Hill Ranger Station who stopped what he was doing to get his ATV out and bring him off the trail back to the truck. Dr Lackeys office who called the emergency vet in Bel Air who called me back and we determined Newark would be faster and called them who called me back. The staff and doctors at VCA who took such good care of him while we waited to see if he would get better. We laid him to rest in a nice place in the woods were he would patrol his territory in his bed with his stuffed animals...
