For all who have ever volunteered with us or have been to a Night Patrol, I would like to share with you a beautiful moment. After our debrief of the night we were left in a circle reflecting on the thought that every action we take, big or small, can have the biggest impact on a person, whether we know it or not. Our conversations can leave both parties with the biggest difference when we part ways and that is why we go out to serve. A client stepped into the circle and expressed his love and appreciation for all the people that take their time out and show the homeless some compassion. Thanking us again he ending his speech with a expressive fist pump. No way better to sum up the night then this beautiful & passionate gesture. So on behalf of our clients and the Vinnies exec I would like to thank all who have ever volunteered and I hope you will always keep putting aside some of you time to volunteer because there nothing in life that can give you more back then when you give.
