For almost an eternity natives of the continent have live a live of misery, abuse, disposition with out a voice to defend their rights. Venal national governments had and continue to put the interests of a foreign companies and their own interests ahead of the original peoples, only and legitimate owners of these lands that we call America. The Mayans in Guatemala and other Central American nations and Mexico, The Kichwas, Quechans, Aymaras and Mapuche of the South American Andes, countless tribes in Brazil, Argentina and other countries are waking up, organizing themselves and taking up what is naturally theirs. In Chile Mapuche people are engage in a very unequal fight with on of the most repressive governments of the continent, that applies ante-terrorism laws to silence and destroy the Mapuches aspirations to have a say in deciding their future. Times are changing, the Mapuches and all other indigenous people are determined to achieve their freedom.
