For anyone whose ever had a premie this is so true. You never expect or plan to have a premie but our Anne Arundel Medical Center NICU nurses were amazing. We never made it to our parenting classes with Dyllan it was a NICU nurse who showed me how to put on a onsie. The NICU nurses at AAMC were our link to Dyllan not just his health, but his mood, everything and they were as big a cheerleader for him as we were. I know it us the care we got in the NICU and the early intervention we got from the state with infants and toddlers program is the reason why Dyllan is thriving and caught up today so thanks to all NICU nurses, pediatric Physcial therapists, occupational therapist, and speech therapists for helping me get my tiny guy to the thriving toddler he is today.
