(Book here - mykindacrowd/bt) What are employability Boot Camps? - The BT work inspiration team is working with My Kinda Crowd -mykindacrowd/ - to deliver free Employability Boot Camps for 16-18 year olds. - Look at this great Candidate Video Here - youtube/watch?v=t0yqumKJzVQ&feature=em-upload_owner BT will be delivering free employability skills Bootcamps with National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) and MyKindaCrowd. It will be for up to 1,000 people across the UK. The employability boot camps aim to increase 16 to 18 year olds chances of finding employment and help them connect with employment opportunities. A great opportunity for attendees: 1. There is no cost 2. Improve chances of getting an interview 3. Improve chances of turning an interview into a job or Apprenticeship offer Summary: 1. Two-day event 2. Led by expert BT and MyKindaCrowd facilitators 3. Real-life situations in BT offices across the UK Boot Camp Target Audience: 1. 16 to 18 year olds 2. Those who may be interested in an Apprenticeship 3. Those who need the extra skills and confidence to get an offer from an employer There are limited places in each workshop. It will be a huge boost to people who may struggle to find immediate employment following education. And a great reference on their CV. Employability boot camps will take place between June and Aug. The following activities are included in a two-day programme: 1. Bringing the best out in your CV 2. How to make a positive impact at an interview 3. Goal setting 4. Inter-personal skills 5. Networking opportunities with industry professionals, and q&a with bt apprentices
