“For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, - TopicsExpress

“For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there has been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it? Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou has heard, and live” (Deuteronomy 4:32-33). On November 2, 1930, Haile Sellassie I established theocracy on earth when he was crowned as the Savior; he invited all nations to be present as he declared to the world that he is God. He did this by using symbolic biblical references when he presented himself as the one and only King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah. His Majesty did not verbatim say that he is the Almighty because that would prove nothing, anyone can do that; instead he did something which the Bible describes that only God can do, which is to sit upon the Throne of David with the titles of the Most High. Ras means Lord in Amharic and as Regent Plenipotentiary of the Ethiopian Realm he was the “Ras be Ras” or Ras of Rases (Lord of Lords) as all governance and authority was entrusted to him by 1917. At this time he was the effectual ruler of the country while Empress Zewditu was still legally the head of state. The various leaders and lieutenants of Ethiopia were subject to his jurisdiction for he was recognized as the most eminent of all commanders; therefore this appellation was issued to signify his position. When he became the Negus Negast, after the Queen died, this marked the first time in history that anyone has ever held both the titles King of Kings and Lord of Lords in unison. All other references to this epithet are held by fictional and mythological figures but the government of Emperor Haile Sellassie I is a real and definitive moment in history that cannot be erased, modified, or denied. There is no other event or personality comparable to the revelation of God. It would be detrimental to neglect our salvation, because it is impossible for an impostor to carry the rank of the Almighty; it is written that he will not give his glory to another. -Book excerpt from Seventy Years Accomplished, the Second Edition.
