For clarity, let me spell this out again. I stated that Nye won the Evolution vs. Creationism debate last night (and by that I mean did the best at conveying facts and reality). I also stated that Ham won the debate - and by that I mean that he achieved his agenda of coming across as intelligent and presenting creationism as plausible and having Nye debate him gave tacit agreement by the Scientific community that creationism is valid enough to worth debating (bad choice on Nyes part IMO). He also won in that he was able to convey the Gospel (his fundamentalist version of it) to millions of people. And he made a lot of money for his creation museum. Conveying facts the best may win debates in high school debate tournaments, but in reality, the perception of the winner of a debate in the public eye is more about rhetoric and flair. Think of all of the presidential elections and their debates. The winners of them werent always those who did the best at debating. Get it? Similarly, Bruno Mars won the recent Super Bowl. - Roger Wolsey
