For everyone born of God, overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. - 1 John 5:4 What a comforting thought. This should settle our fears in a flash. It is powerful. By being a child of God, and through the death of Our Lord Jesus Christ, we have overcome the world. There will always be trials to test our faith. God tests our faith to make us stronger in faith and to grow in virtues. The devil attacks our faith to make it weaker. So if we are going through a battle right now, take courage and dont lose heart. Whether we feel like were full of faith or lost in darkness, let us keep saying, Lord, I have faith. Strengthen my faith in You. We may have to repeat it over and over some day. Any doubts, negative thoughts, fears come from the evil one. Dispel them and ask for Gods strength. Trust in Him Who is always there, whether we feel Him or not. Take courage, for we have overcome the world. The stronger our faith, the stronger we are as children of God, and we win over the souls wandering in darkness. When we are filled with great faith, there will be no room for fear. Heavenly Father, help us in our trials of life and in our joys, so that our faith will continue to grow. Protect us from the evil one, keep us close to You and help us to never lose our trust in You, Who is always looking after us and caring for our every need as Your children. In the name of Jesus, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Amen.
