For everyone involved in rescue work our ‘rescues’ are all - TopicsExpress

For everyone involved in rescue work our ‘rescues’ are all precious and we would go to the ends of the earth for them. Rufus & Luna I thought I could protect from ever knowing what it is to suffer as their mother had done! These are the photos I saw of their mother in Hellin Killing Station in the winter of 2013 laid on a cold concrete floor, heavily pregnant which tore at my heart (her 3rd litter of puppies I found out later and she had previously been kicked by her owner and her front leg had been broken and never treated). We drove straight to the Pound and brought her home and she gave birth here in safety a week later while I sat with her stroking her tummy as she gave birth to each of her babies. I thought this would be enough to protect them from ever knowing the pain and suffering she had known and I still have to hope they are safe and well cared for but until I know, I will not give up looking for them, I owe them that!! I know there are people out there who know what happened to these pups so I beg you to end this nightmare now and tell us what has happened to them all. The time for protecting these adopters is long gone!!! Whether it be that all these little ones are safe and well cared for in loving families and we can see this for ourselves (and they will, of course, stay with those families for the rest of their lives) or whether they are gone and we can help them no more but we need proof of this. Whichever it is, I urge you to come forward and do the honourable thing now.
