Well, a very merry Christmas everyone, I am so stuffed, I can hardly walk which gave me an excuse to finish off my long overdue timelapse of the awesome Geminids experience in Brede two weeks ago. Many mistakes on the shoot and post process but its my first ever night sky timelapse and have learnt a lot from it. What excites me is that I caught 35 shooting stars that night! I show them as cropped stills at the end of the video. I believe they are meteors because they appear only in single frames unlike the planes and satellites. I slowed the video down to 12fps so we can catch some of them during the timelapse. What surprised me is that sometimes the dew actually had a nice effect on the brighter stars such as Betelguese and Rigel, lol. If only there was a consistency on it. Anyway, I dedicate the video to you guys and my friends at Flamsteed :) Thanks for all your enormously fun company and knowledge sharing this year.
