For inquiring minds.... update on the animal abandonment case next door. I have been in regular contact with the homeowner. The cat was to have been returned to the place from which it was adopted. So far, no action. The dog was to have been picked up by 4pm. So far he is still there as I just fed him and he drank SIX shallow tupperware style containers of water that I passed in the spacing underneath the gate. Obviously, he was a tad dehydrated. I just informed the owner that at 6pm I was calling both the sheriffs office as well as Animal Control. If any of you know of any rescues that have space for Beau despite being aggressive with other dogs, please step up now and let me know. Id rather him in a good foster situation than at PCACC where his chances are slim. The asshat next door is supposedly away for work in Tucson until Thursday, but the rental agent is supposed to be bringing the daughter over to claim the dog. Beau is a big lug and lovable as hell.
