For like the 4th or 5th night in a row Asher has asked me to rock him and sing Baby Beluga. 18 years ago my baby sister (Ché) stopped crying to me singing it and rocking her, it became the go-to baby song for her. My mom would be like Seraph! and that was the cue to start singing it to the baby. Then several years ago it came up in my bedtime repertoire and for months after my step daughter Ciara would spill out of my lap (because I became sooooo pregnant) as I rocked her in one arm, patting Sofia with the other hand while I sang it over and over. Now Ashers repeated special request? Either I am the Celine Dion of Baby Beluga or Raffi did some science with that song writing. :p
