For me, the serious side of things is this: We all to need to be aware of the times that we are living in. Its so easy to get preoccupied with the cares of this world, the cares of taking care of the family, the cares of Facebook, the cares of not having enough money, the cares of never having found Miss Right, or Mr. Right, the cares of whatever. At some point in time, we need to decide: The only thing that matters is hearing His voice. History, (His Story) is unfolding before our very eyes. We are living in a very important time. And God has a special assignment for all of His people. You and I are called for a specific purpose. We need to have our thoughts heading in the right direction. Our thoughts need to be focused on His written word in the bible, and His word to our spirits. This is no time to be waffling around, undecided about why we are here, and Who we are submitted to. A year, or year and a half ago, I read a book entitled The Harbinger, by Jonathon Cahn. I knew that the Lord was speaking to me through that book. I believe that much of what happened here on facebook last year came for the purpose of getting me off course. I am thankful for the grace of God that kept me in the difficult times that came about in this last year. These are very serious times. Theres no question about it. We all need to be open to the Holy Spirits counsel in our lives. Yes, I believe good things are coming. And eventually Jesus Himself could be coming. And I want to be ready when He appears. I dont want to be off on some wild Facebook goose chase. And I hope that none of my friends on facebook get off course either. I like to laugh and have fun. But I dont want to ever get off track, and lose sight of the seriousness of life. The signs of the times are here.
