Hamilton Pop Warner Football& Cheer P.O. Box 9388- Hamilton NJ, 08610 March 2014 Dear Sir or Madam: Hamilton Pop Warner is a non-profit organization that provides youth football and cheer programs to Hamilton and neighboring residents. Pop Warner participants consist of approximately 425,000 young boys and girls from ages 5 to 15 years old, in 42 states and several countries around the world. Hamilton Pop Warner Football teams and Cheer squads have been active participants in the success of our community. We not only teach the fundamentals of cheer and football but also team spirit, dedication, respect and community service. Pop Warner provides fun athletic learning opportunities for children, while emphasizing the importance of academics. We strive to involve our players and cheerleaders in such community and nationwide initiatives which in turn teaches them values of life beyond the field. We have been recognized in local newspapers for our donations to the Yellow Ribbon Fund for New Jersey troops in Northern Afghanistan, contributions of non perishable foods to the Bromley Civic Center in Hamilton, as well as raised over $1500 for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Society. While Hamilton Pop Warner executes several fundraisers, the league still finds itself struggling financially while trying to provide the best equipment and training for its member base, most of which hovers close to or under the poverty line. The league has recently purchased new helmets and pants with the help of a loan guaranteed personally by its president Ryan Lederman. Still the league is in need of several types of equipment and training aid in addition cheerleading mats and simply cannot afford to purchase it while maintaining charitable practices. The league has an opportunity to change the lives of several children in the community and with some financial aid; it can continue to do so. The Hamilton Pop Warner Association is very proud of this program. New this season, we are introducing a low cost week long summer camp as well as a Casino Night fundraiser on September 12, 2014. We are asking for donations to be used as raffle prizes for our participants. Donations such as gift certificates for goods or services, gift baskets or even table sponsors are requested. A table sponsor will have your business or personal name displayed on one of our casino tables showcasing your sponsorship. Table sponsors are $250 each. A compiled list of all donations will be displayed at our event also showcasing your contribution. I am hoping you will be interested in donating for this event for the 2014 season and help us to continue providing a safe fulfilling experience for our players. All donations are requested by August 1st, 2014.
