For me, this year signifies new. Im at a point in my life where I know exactly what I want & Im not waiting anymore. For anything nor anyone. Too many times Ive put my desires on hold to help other people & Ive allowed things to be stifled within me. Ive coddled mediocrity & caved when I should have stood my ground. Everyday Im learning. Everyday Im growing. & everyday Im realizing how beautiful life is. In trials & in blessings. In weakness & in strength. In loss & in gain. This year I look forward to the new. In every way possible. Im done waiting. Its time for me to speak where Ive been silent. To lead where many times Ive followed. & to not fall prey to mediocrities. I refuse to be a background prop in a story thats meant for me to be a key player. Life is too short. Love is too worth it. & well, Im too priceless to settle for anything less than the very best. So new I embrace you. With a heart full of love, expectancy & hope. I can already see a beautiful horizon.
