For my Father - who passed away in Jamaica this morning. We didnt always get on, but I can say he tried his best, according to his belief in the importance of duty, to be a Father. Now gone to join my Mother. Now We Know -------------------- Our shade is gone, our tree, cut down, no more to shield us from the sun, that light, which lured us once, through leafy heights, now weighs us down and seems too bright, so we in turn begin to wither, with limbs entwined above those younger, who, like us once, see only blocks, to yearned for sun, in our desperate protection
