For my friends following along... here is an update from Baby Masons mommy: I just want to thank all of you for your prayers. God has definitely heard them! We just got the results back from the lab and yesterday my white blood count was as 17 which was a little concerning. Today it is at 13, which is pretty normal for a pregnant woman!!! We are still not in the clear but that is definitely a good sign. Yesterday they tried to do an amniocentesis to test the fluid for infection but there was not enough fluid. I have had no leakage of fluid since about 2 this morning so we are hoping that there will be enough fluid to do the test today. Please continue to pray that there is no infection in the fluid, because if there is they will induce labor. Also, we know there is only a 10% chance of this happening, but we are praying for the water sack to heal up on its own, which will greatly reduce risk of infection and increase chance of carrying Mason much longer. I know doctors, especially at Duke know what they are doing and the odds, but my God, The Great Physician, is more powerful than any other!!!! Please, please keep the prayers coming. We cannot begin to express how thankful we are! Keep those prayers coming, yall! #praywithoutceasing #prayforbabyMason
