For nearly 25 years Jim Brown has pushed for prison reform by taking the so-called worst-of-the-worst predators and teaching them the responsibility of self-determination in the Amer-I-Can Life Management Skills program. Ive been blessed to witness remarkable transformations, thanks to a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Amer-i-Can deserves to be in the mix of services offered in schools before we have to teach it in prison.
