For new friends and old, just a friendly reminder - Well my friends and fellow Canadians, are we focusing our hopes for the future of Canada in the right direction? Perhaps the answer for winning the next election rest with us, all of us Canadians, who can, IF collectively we exercise our Democratic Rights and VOTE smart enough, are still in charge of this country we call Canada, arent we? What will YOU do in the next election? It really is up to all of us... Please remind your family, friends, neighbours, and ALL your fellow Canadians that you talk to of that FACT... Heres how I put it; see if you agree, and feel free to share it if you wish to do so - Canadian Democracy YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE; USE IT OR LOSE IT! Never before in Canadas entire history has Canada had a government that has been this self serving, self aggrandizing, corrupt, harmful, and in fact anti Canadian at its very core... Not even during the MORONey era, although after he left office he did falsely sue Canadians that made him PM for a couple of million dollars... Its truly sad that most Canadians are too apathetic and uninformed to even care about losing their democratic RIGHTS now that Bill C-23 has been passed (read forced through) by the most undemocratic Canadian Government in Canadas long and once very proud history... PLEASE remember its YOUR country, not the parties or politicians, so the onus to find out who will best SERVE your interests and your countrys best interest is entirely up to YOU and no one else unless you want to abdicate your responsibility for your country to them (parties and politicians)... In 2011 The Harper Gov. was brought down because they were CONVICTED (in Parliament) of Corruption and Contempt by the Liberal official opposition supported by the other opposition parties ... An uninformed and apathetic Canadian general public, driven by a Harper propaganda coerced media along with the visual of a man campaigning with cancer and a cane punished (read rewarded) that behavior by Harper and his gang of CONS with the MAJORITY CON GOVERNMENT Harper craved to carry out the destruction of Canada in every aspect of Canadas being... Why? Im a true Centrist (politically speaking), a Canada Firster (ahead of province or party alliance), Fiscally astute (balanced budgets, freedom from debt), Environmentally concerned (both personally and politically), and Socially responsible (self explanatory, I care about people) which puts me square on with the Liberal philosophy right in the centre of the political spectrum... I stay informed on all the goings on politically between elections regarding ALL political parties even though Im a card carrying member of the LPC because I love Canada regardless of who occupies the seats in the House of Commons of Canada... Why arent ALL Canadians equally engaged in politics? The bottom line; regardless of whether you vote for party, party leader, your candidate, dont vote, or anything else you do in an election like vote according to media hype and misinformation or polls; or if all you know about politics is to not vote CON (ABC), its YOU that is responsible, not Harper... Harper is simply the unwelcome (to most) beneficiary of what YOU the voter did in the 2011 election... If Canadas Democracy and Canada as a country doesnt matter to YOU enough to be involved in YOUR country and its politics, it can be destroyed and your RIGHTS can be taken away because of it... Thats the why! As I always say (while its still true) - Canada is a Democracy, flawed as it may be, and while you may not get the Government you want, you will always get the Government you deserve; even if only because of voter ignorance and apathy. - by me Whether you know it or not what happens Politically, at every level of Government, has a direct affect on a persons (and that of their families) daily life... So if youre not engaged enough to care about whats happening politically in your country, dont whine about whats happening TO your country actually after a Government is elected... Not even if that Government was elected fraudulently and by only 38% of the 60% (or less) that actually voted FOR them... Blame the Canadians that had a chance to make a difference and didnt...
