For our 891 Facebook friends holidaying in the Flinders and Mid-North, the SES is suggesting you head home as soon as possible (today). Areas of the Flinders and North are expecting up to 200mm of rain in the next 3-4 days, with some areas of the Flinders prone to flash flooding, it is possible people in the area could be caught out and isolated by rising waters. The SES has sent 15,000 sandbags to Port Pirie in preparation for flooding events. Time to head home now if you are in the area and dont need to be.
