For sale only 1998 ford ranger 4x4, title in my name will be here this week. Bought from an old man a month ago, ran ok, shifted fine, no gears slipping or grinding (its a 5 speed). Because it was sitting for a year it had bad gas in it. I replaced the fuel pump, changed oil, some screens and misc. stuff from a certified shop (I have receipt for 680.00$ To get the engine running fine, front and rear differential fluid changed, AC charged, etc). The truck needs ball joints, and now when you drive it for about 15 miles, clutch slips. Possible pressure plate or leak somewhere?? Once its cold, everything is tight though.
