Old Skool Cafe is one of my favorite non-profit organizations in our city. Old Skools founder Teresa Goines is truly an inspiration, who is empowering young people from challenged backgrounds by providing them the guidance and opportunities they need to build strong futures for themselves. I am proud that at a moment when Old Skools future was uncertain, San Franciscans have stepped up and rallied to make sure the cafe has a permanent home. I am glad that many of those thriving in our citys economy are giving back to the community through an organization that does so much to help some of our most vulnerable residents. And of course, Old Skool is also a place with amazing food and great entertainment.
